Thresholds: Moments of Opportunity

Threshold - any place or point of entering or beginning; also called limen - the point at which a stimulus is of sufficient intensity to begin to produce an effect. 

 



Liminal - from the Latin word limen; a place in-between.

Thin Places - Any place that signifies a transition point between the inner and outer, the past and the future, the visible and invisible worlds. In this place, one might say, "the veil is thin."

 

 



Viewing our experiences, days or moments as thresholds, as liminal or thin, allows us to find, in those moments, opportunities for transformation, transition or change in the midst of our living.

 

 


Thresholds are all around us.....
